What is XYRA?
XYRA is an AI-powered immigration intelligence platform with three products: Ask XYRA (free, for individuals), Attorney Intelligence (research for attorneys), and Workspace (practice management for law firms). See What is XYRA? for the full definition.
Is XYRA a law firm?
No. XYRA is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, does not file anything without a licensed attorney involved, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by USCIS, DHS, or any government agency.
What does "Private Alpha" mean?
Attorney Intelligence and Workspace are currently in Private Alpha, available to a small group of design-partner immigration firms. Ask XYRA is publicly available today, free, with no signup required.
How much does XYRA cost?
Ask XYRA is free. Attorney Intelligence and Workspace are in Private Alpha; firms interested in access can request it via the Contact page.
Individuals
Is Ask XYRA really free?
Yes — no signup required to ask a question.
Does Ask XYRA give me legal advice?
No. Ask XYRA gives general, sourced information about immigration topics. It is not a substitute for consulting a licensed immigration attorney about your specific situation.
Can Ask XYRA file anything on my behalf?
No. Ask XYRA does not file forms or submit anything to any agency on your behalf.
Attorneys
Does Attorney Intelligence replace my own legal judgment?
No. Every output carries a visible review status and is meant to accelerate research, not replace an attorney's judgment or sign-off.
How are citations verified?
Every citation is checked automatically against the set of documents actually retrieved for that question. A citation to something outside that set is rejected, not silently passed through. See How It Works for the full mechanism.
Is this a replacement for Westlaw, Lexis, or general legal research tools?
No. Attorney Intelligence is a grounded research and citation-verification layer specific to immigration sources — the Federal Register, USCIS Policy Manual, DOL data, and related agency material — not a general legal research database.

What does Workspace actually do?
Evidence review (classification, OCR, structured fact extraction), case strategy grounded in the matter's own record, drafting from confirmed facts, and collaboration — with an attorney-review gate before anything is relied on. See AI Document Review for the evidence pipeline specifically.
Is my firm's data isolated from other firms?
Yes. Every matter is isolated to its own organization, access is governed by role, and research activity is recorded to an audit trail.
Does Workspace file anything automatically?
No. Every AI-generated draft, recommendation, or strategy requires a licensed attorney's sign-off before it's used or filed.
Security & Trust
What is XYRA's security posture?
XYRA is still finalizing a complete, public security overview rather than publishing claims ahead of the documentation that backs them — see the Security page for the current, honest status. Immigration case data is treated as sensitive throughout the product today.
